Description: Carte de visite of Helen Clark Boyle, daughter of Dorcas Clark, Preceptress of the Petaluma College. She was the donor's Great Grandmother. Helen had a daughter, Gertrude who was a sculptor in San Francisco. She had a studio across the hall from William Keith. Gertrude married a poet, Takeshi Kanno. Helen was a teacher at the San Jose Normal School.
